Small Team Assisted Rescue

This course looks at casualty evacuation techniques for small teams. Specifically looking at rigging off the harness, long and complex litter carries, austere environment, restricted spaces, rigging litters for high angle and steep ground, anchoring, patient packaging and medical considerations, lightweight AHDs, no AHDs and much more.

We aim for 10 hours of instruction each day. Both in class and in the field. Including evening / night time exercises. 

This is a physically arduous course.  No prior experience necessary.

Its taught using our small team rescue equipment. 

Complies to NFPA 1006 Technician Level.
